Patricia (“Trish”) Mitchell
A Colorado native with tireless work ethic and irreverent wit, Trish’s unique experience sets her apart from other brokers. Her negotiation and contracting skills honed during a 25-year commercial law practice, help her buyers win contracts over competing offers, and her sellers maximize their net proceeds during complex and often emotionally-charged price and inspection negotiations.
Whether you are a first-time buyer or homeowner moving ‘up’ or downsizing, Trish is committed to bringing both professionalism and fun to the process, and will:
- ensure you understand home buying/selling process and the nuances of our Denver market,
- really listen to your desires and concerns,
- communicate clearly and respond quickly,
- and get you to the closing table knowing you’ve had a strong advocate, made a good financial deal and love the result!
For Sellers – expert pricing advice based on thorough market research and previewing, vendor resources for home services/repairs, and professional staging, photography and marketing to maximize your net profit in the shortest amount of time.
For Buyers – connecting you with experienced lenders/mortgage brokers, previewing on your behalf, introducing you to neighborhoods you might not know, finding that ‘hidden gem’ of a home and drafting a precise, creative and compelling offer to enhance your likelihood of acceptance. (Trish is a Certified Market Expert in Central Denver, has lived in Platt Park since 2010 and in the south suburbs 10+ years. The entire greater Denver area is her oyster. 😊)
Who is she, really?
Hailing from a small town in northeastern Colorado (Brush), Trish spent summers driving tractors, riding horses and helping her cattle-ranching father build fences. Her love of skiing took her to the Univ of Utah in SLC for her undergrad degree, after which she earned her law degree from the Univ of Florida (Go Gators!). With her Colorado heritage and skiing on her mind, Trish returned to Denver to practice law. After a lengthy legal career including stints in Seattle and Florida (know anyone moving to or from those areas?), Trish wanted to escape from behind a desk and use her skills and local Denver knowledge in a different environment. Real estate was the perfect fit, and the rest is history (Trish is also happy to be able to ski during the week and avoid the angst of weekend I-70 ski traffic).
Did you know: If you’re moving out-of-state, Trish has probably lived there and can help you find the right broker with expertise and personality to match your needs through her extensive network of friends, relatives and brokers throughout the U.S. including Seattle, California, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia and the D.C./northern Virginia area.
